6 Days in Tokyo —

This was a first for the studio — six days of travel abroad, waking up to the same set of faces in a narrow hallway of bunk beds. It felt surprisingly familial, which is what I liked most about it. No internal brainstorming or client inquiries, just consecutive days of scallop sushi and Strong Zero.

As one of those types that check their e-mail for updates at 1AM, it was a strange change of pace to let myself ride the flow of each day. Being in the moment seems to be harder for me these days. Although there’s something about Japan that draws you to be still and forces you to be present. &
