Gentleprince

Rebranding the gentlest prince of office furniture.

With a name as unique as Gentleprince, we knew the rebrand had to back it up.

The brand —

Gentleprince is an office furniture store along Jupiter Street in Makati. Having expanded from their one branch in Binondo, Manila, they wanted a rebrand to facilitate their expansion.

Our design —

The brand had to be simple but memorable, practical but playful. We took inspiration from Japanese appliance brands of the nineties and ran with it. The goal was that Gentleprince had to be visually memorable in order to match its unique brand name.

The monogram —

The focus of the identity is the custom logotype and monogram. Corners and curves were carefully thought out and consistently applied. A crown fashioned from the corners of the type rests on top of the monogram’s head.

Colors as categories —

A simple color-coded system organizes Gentleprince’s furniture selection. A practical blue for those who shop on a budget, the signature red for the more discerning customer, and a royal flush of gold for the luxury line.
