How might we refresh the identity of Film Lab while staying true to their roots?

Film Lab themselves inspired our design process. Their passion for telling sincere and heartfelt stories through film was our jump-off point when we started working on their brand.

Design solution —

People have their own way of seeing the world and understanding their experiences. Every story we tell comes from our individual perspectives and points of view. This was the idea we translated into visuals, using lines and forms that play on the way we look at things.

Lenticular printing and optical illusions were our main inspirations for the brand.

This literal visualization of different perspectives leads back to Film Lab’s ethos of telling different stories. It represents their ambitions and their heart as filmmakers.
