Every year, the Ateneo Art Awards is held to fête young and promising Filipino artists and critics. Winners are given grants and opportunities to further their craft, towards elevating contemporary art in the country.
The process —
We were given the freedom to conceptualize and design the event identity without limitations. The result is an identity built around an ascending staircase, celebrating the work of its artists and writers.
The brand identity makes use of one font family and three distinct colors. The goal was to keep it simple but impactful, distinct enough to be memorable without overshadowing the work of their artists.
