How might we streamline the identity of FPLA in order to amplify its mission of building champions?
First Pacific Leadership Academy is a leadership training and development center in Antipolo, and a member of the First Pacific Group of Companies.
They provide programs and workshops to companies and individuals to mold them into champions in their respective fields – champions of integrity, innovation, and organizational bravery.
The brand has a lot of color and personality apart from being an institution for leadership, as seen in the range of facilities in the location and the various events held by FPLA.
It presents itself as a living, breathing environment where one can hone their best self. What we came up with aims to bring the brand’s different facets in one cohesive identity – the care it gives its people, its corporate roots, and its authority as a home of champions.
To communicate FPLA’s authority, we centered the seal on the griffin, a distinct symbol FPLA had already been across wayfinding and decor, which represented the two mascots of the chairman’s alma maters.

Empathy takes the form of a sun. FPLA sees its leaders as beacons of hope who share their light with those around them.
Integrity is the column on which the griffin stands on representative of the facilities of FPLA – a steadfast and unwavering foundation.

Bravery is the griffin – the king of the skies and beasts. It is the champion of the brand’s mission of building braver leaders.
The brand’s palette and typography call back to the identity of the First Pacific group. Both made, literally, more bold and vibrant to give FPLA and energy that still feels familiar to FP.
Squares and solid blocks of color match the form of the corporate logo.
One of the requirements of the project was to retain the corporate logo. We anchored the brand’s elements on it in the form of squares and solid blocks of color to make the logo a natural fit with the visual identity.
